Hi all,
I am trying to generate a basins map from a dem using r.stream.basins
I first cut the dem to the area I want to work on than run g.region to
set the region to this map.
Then I calculated streams and streams flow directions with r.stream.extract.
In order to get stream basins I used

I have a sequence of satellite images (e.g 1 in the north, other in the
center and other in south) that I want to merge in a single image. I found

- r.patch
- i.image.mosaic.
Which one is the best to perform what I need?
Thanks

I need to implement a Quadratic Mahaloanobis Distance by using GRASS. This
is based on medium vector and covariance matrix.
1- As anyone implemented anything similar?
2- If not, Is there any GRASS script that accesses medium vector and
Covariance matrix in its processing?
Thanks
Does r.in.wms work with any other formats than the defaults. I am
trying to connect to a usgs server to grab a large amount of data and
being able to use ArcGrid, Bil, Bil_1, Integer, TIFF, GridFloat would be
very handy. Are there any options for this?
