IIUC, you actually want to randomize the categories of pixels where

Hello,
Thank you very much. The v.isochrones seems to require in input a vector
network (roads) with a speed attributes column. I have just checked my
openstreetmap roads vector layer. And this column is not fully completed,
data are lacking for many routes. How can I do? According to you, before

I'm just looking at the MS Windows build logs. There is the strange issue
which was discussed some time ago on grass-dev
Hi All,
After converting a shape file(point) into raster using GRASS7, it is not
displaying the converted raster map. When i query the raster map it is
displaying the value as 0, even though there are values.
Please help how to solve this problem
Thanks

Firstly,
check your region settings.
Babitha,
How did you do your vector point to raster interpolation; v.surf.bspline;
v.surf.idw; v.krige,…? Did you use d.rast to display the raster map; do you
have a MASK set; is your GRASS Region set correctly?
Knowing your steps in more detail would be helpful…

Hello all,
I'm trying to write a new area to a new vector map, without success.
If I do the following :
new_boundary = Boundary(points=coordinates)
new_centroid = Point(point_x,point_y)
new_area = Area(boundary = new_boundary, centroid=new_centroid)
new_vect_map.write(new_area)
I get this
Nice suggestions Moritz. Another alternative to accomplish this is to
combine r.surf.random and r.recode (instead of recode, one can also use
r.reclass). I haven't tried it, but this might be faster for large maps or
with many categories?
r.surf.random flags=i, output=LUCrandom min=0 max=1

Hello,
I have installed grass 7 on ubuntu 14.04, 64 bit, from the source code.
The grass70 opens without any problems, but I'm unable to find the
command '*g.mlist*'. However, g.list opens without any errors.
Also, I'm unable to install any of the Add-ons.
I think I have missed to configure some
