I missed the -f flag, setting that, the feature importance is estimated and
written to corresponding csv file

Re-running db.copy on the fishes_pg table brought data along with table

Hi Markus
As always thank you for the prompt response
I think maybe the fix is not a fix then as we had done this upgrade to GRASS
7.4.2 and the re-installation of the addons and testing just a few hours ago …
(???)
I’ll include the code of the broken r.width.funct.py below just in case.

I've just re-entered the grass world, so I'm not up to date. However, I've
been trying to import a PNG file as as background map - with no success at

The documentation on r.in.png is very terse. Is there more?
Many thanks to all,

Good afternoon Markus & Co.
It appears that the latest version of r.width.funct.py is not functioning
properly ... We have a few Windows10 systems here running GRASS; I'm on v7.4.0
and another person has (had) 7.2.2. She was trying to run r.basin on a 30m
resolution DEM and kept getting the
Hi all,
I'm rather new in using machine learning classifiers (indeed I only started
to test today) and I found that setting fimp_file option does not give any
output. According to the manual, it should save the feature importances in
a csv file, but nothing comes out. Do I need to set
I used db.copy and created tables in postgres from those in the mapset's
sqlite tables by following the format in the examples and assumed that all
attribute data went along for the ride. Apparently not. Here's one table:
# \d fishes_pg
Table "public.fishes_pg"
I was trying with nested loops and it seems not to be working. Now I tried
again (more carefully i have to say) and it worked! Thanks to everybody!

Dear all,
First, I would like all polygons with area less than, for example, 100
squaremeters, to be joined to adjacent ones with a larger area. There is a
module linked to the polygons sliver, right? Finally, the thing to which I
just can not give a solution. I would like to "merge/dissolve" just
