Hi users,
Can someone help with this doubt of mine?
When I run r.report on a raster, it says that 48% of my cells have no no
data - does this refers to NULL cells? (if so, than it's ok, otherwise I
must recheck my data).
Thanks in advance

Thank you Hamish!
I just added NetPBM to the %PATH% and now it works.
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
Has anyone here ever merged the output tiles obtained through Maximum
resolution ppm option in nviz?
How can I transform tens of files in just one high resolution .jpg/.png?
Best wishes

Probably you changed resolution of the rasrter itself before runing
r.aspect.slope.
Has Maris said, try to first run the module with DEM native resolution, and
then, if you need a better resolution, set it in yout region and then run
r.resample.

Hello list,
I have a raster obtained through r.mapcalc whose cells values represent
friction or cost.
To finish my study I'm lacking one final step - calculate the least cost
path!
How do I do it? I've tried r.cost but the result is not wat I expected - My
desired output is just a line from A to
Patrice, Daniel,
Thank you for your commments - it shaded some light on the subject.

Hello,
I have a technichal doubt. I used* v.to.rast.constant *to tranform a line
vector layer to raster. This meant i have a raster with NULL values.
The output raster is to be used in map algebra operations.
So my question is: Is it advisable to set the Null cells to 0? I know
r.calc works
Hello,
I Have a vector layer with all the rivers, and subsidiaries up to the
smallest water lines.
However I need to simplify this layer in order that it only shows the main
rivers and first, second and third order tributary water lines.
Any hints on how to achieve this?
Best Regards,
André
Thank you for your suggestions. It seems I will be having a hard time!!
@Jarek - The vector has a good topology (I tested the topology using the
layer to run a simple nearest path analysis and it worked, so I assume it's
ok) I checked the attribute table and it has hundreds of objects and only
Hello,
I'm having problmes with module v.to.points.
The input is a line shapefile with only two atributtes (both of them
integers). I always get this error message:
v.to.points input=AplanadoGRASS@InterpolationTEST type=line llayer=1
output=C:/Users/Andre
it helps,
Marcello.

Thank you for your suggestions!
I'll begin to explore Ocrad (thanks for the tip Markus).
If I achieve relevant results will share them here.

Hello users,
I really could use some hints regarding this problem.
I want to generate a new raster from the following expression (using
r.mapcalculator from QGIS GRASS plugin):
A*0.5+B*0.05+C*0.2+D*0.2+E*0.05
All rasters are integer16 geotiff anda have the same resolution. I just get
