HI!! following ur Instructions I have created a new Location MAP: Name of the New LOcation: Map Path to New Location:/usr/local/grassdata/ Path to georefrenced file:/usr/local/grassdata/Path_to_Tiff_File it create a new location Map.. Now i tried to Import tiff file selecting the Map Location...
