Updating on the svn, I get this configure error
checking for gdal-config... /usr/bin/gdal-config
configure: error: *** Unable to locate GDAL library
Running ldconfig seems that my gdal libarary's are in the right place:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/source/develbranch_6$ sudo /sbin/ldconfig -p | grep gdal
