Installing Xcode command line tools through Xcode worked in the standalone
GRASS version! I can now get to work on finishing this manuscript! Thanks.
Two things to keep in mind for those following after me.
1) The entire file path can't have spaces or g.extension fails, which meant

Thanks Hamish,
think that binaries were not available yet when I reached the
repository first time.
Well, anyways, it looks like no GUI is present. The following error
raises, since (and I checked) no /usr/lib/grass70/etc/gui directory
was created.

Hello,
trying to generate a DEM from a photogrammetric vector input file
(elevation points, contour lines, and breaklines), I decided to run the
v.triangle addon. The main reason is the local topography has many
ridges and deep gulleys and I want to incorporate a breaklines vector
map in my interp
Pietro,
I ran this install.SH over 64bit precompiled tarball
(http://grass.osgeo.org/grass70/binary/linux/snapshot/)
for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
This includes pygrass.

I already tried the v-flag. This creates a attribute table with in this
case 4 lines (corresponding to the 4 distinct FCODE values).
However there are more segments than just 4. There are e.g. multiple
"segments" with the value 33400 in the entire region
which are maybe then joint into one category

The GDAL installed are: gdal-bin 1.7.3, python-gdal 1.7.3,
libgdal1-dev 1.7.3 and libgdal1-1.7.3.
The .SO I have is: libgdal1.7.0.so.1
The error msg is:
"Unable to import pyGRASS: libgdal1.6.0.so.1: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory".
Thank you.

In which sense is it not supported? I am using GDAL 1.10.1 with the file
/usr/lib64/libgdal.

hi all,
sorry for my late response. I can now provide an example using the NC

So I transformed the streams vector into a raster using the

Hi Markus,
We are interested in the ground effect. Specifically over distances
nominally 10 times the blade diameter of the various turbines we survey for,
and 130 deg either side of north.
This module looks very, very useful for our requirements.
Can I get back to you with other questions when

Hi all
I got a great problem: i can't use Grass because it's slow and often freeze.
If i do some simple operation (v/r.in, remove ecc...) one time it did it
in 0secs but 9 times it takes 1min and 30 secs. always.
But the great problem happens when i launch some scripts.
