Some stream reaches host more than one fish species. Is there a way to color
those segments with multiple colors, one for each species? I'm thinking of
the equivalent of a dashed line with adjacent segments colored for each
species and segment sizes based on the number of species and length of

Thanks for your efforts. We just found, actually some students running
Windows in my tutorial at geostat today found, that some add-ons, those
that I need actually, are still failing... Here the error:

I have an update on this. It seems to work if the vector file resides in
the same mapset! I g.copied big_areas2@PERMANENT to current mapset and the
excluded polygons are much less. It surely needs further investigation...
