[GRASS-user] Debugging a r.gdal import error

On several raster DEM files downloaded from the Oregon LiDAR Consortium r.gdal reports it cannot read hdr.adf. The OLC data maintainer tells me he has no issues using ArcGis. Is there a way for me (or someone more knowledgable) to figure out why r.gdal has reading issue and fixing them? Regards,
