Hi Vil,
at the time 3D support was added to v.hull, the new
3D vector API for GRASS had just been released, and
there was some uncertainty about the role of the
new geometry type "volume". Back then, there was
hardly any GRASS module that could do anything useful
with that type. Has that changed b
Dear list
I would like to go back from Grass 7.4 to Grass 7.2 (because the new
version is incompatible with QGIS). However, I have severe problems.
I am running Linux Mint 18.2(Sonja).
When I try to add the correct ppa I get the following:

Hi,
qgis-plugin-grass depends on Grass 7.2, hence when I try to install it I
get the following message:
mira@mira-mint ~ $ sudo apt-get install qgis-plugin-grass

Some packages could not be installed. This

So
Using the nightly build of QGIS did the trick.

Maybe you still have some old packages installed that have been held.
You could check with 'dpkg -l "*qgis*" | grep ii' to see all packages
that are installed and have qgis in their name.
Sometimes, when I

you are probably right. Than we should also rename r.modis and
probably also other modules. What do you think? Ma

Hi,
Here is an update, following my email from April 2017.
We now have a mirror of the main OSGeo4W repository available here :

I'm not sure but think this really is a qgis issue, because I'm experiencing
the same thing on OS X with grass 7.4.0 and qgis installed via macports.

Helmut,
following your suggestions :
I deleted the OSGeo4W installation (and all the previous versions of GRASS)
I started with a new OSGeo4W installation of GDAL (GDAL 2.2.3) with no errors
I tried to install GRASS7.4 in OSGeo4W but with no success.
The search for sqlite3* gave: sqlite3.dll in

ok, there is another SQLite in your %PATH% on that machine.
AFAIK Windows10 doesn't install it there, this must come from another
software which put the dll in C:\W
