Hi everybody.
I'm trying graylog collector with my Win8 PC. I cant collect security event
logs. I tried the same with my Win2008 server and same results.
Any idea about that ?

I'm using the SNMP Plugin and i want to know if there is a way to get the
hostname in the source field instead of the ip address. For other inputs
(like Syslog UDP) there is a "Force rDNS" option.

while the SNMP plugin itself doesn't provide this, you could use the (kind
of unsupported) DNS Resolver plugin:
https://github.com/Graylog2/graylog-plugin-dnsresolver.
This would resolve all IP addresses in the "source" message field and not
only the messages from the SNMP plugin,
