Hi Drew, thanks for starting me to search for logs. Finally I managed to
get the latest graylog running.
The problem turned out to be several things
- etc/graylog/web/web.conf (missing password secret)
- etc/graylog/server/server.conf (missing password secret and
root_password_sha2)
- Java 1.7
Thanks, Jochen, for pointing that out.
I rewrote the install script in terms of new versions of elasticsearch,
graylog-web and graylog-server.
The installation runs fine but now service --status-all says elasticsearch
dead but subsys locked and also the same message for graylog-server and
-web.
Hi guys,
I got a weird problem with graylog2.
I installed graylog with the install script of mrlesmithjr in Virtual Box
on CentOS 6.7:
https://github.com/mrlesmithjr/graylog2
After installation everything worked fine and I could send test HTTP GELF
messages via curl
which showed up perfectly
