Saturday Oct 11 11 AM - 2 PM @ 47TH STREET AND 1ST AVE IN NEW YORK CITY, IN FRONT OF THE UNITED NATIONS DRAW INTERNATIONAL ATTENTION TO THE VIOLENT MURDERS OF CHRISTIANS, DALITS, AND TRIBALS OF INDIA The last two months has seen a massive wavve of violence against the Christian minorties in India, especially in Orissa and karnataka. In violence in both states has continued unabated and in the recent weeks has begun to spread to Madhya Pradesh and Tamilnadu. The recent mass violence against Christian communities is the latest in a continued attack against minoroties that started with the demolition of the Babri masjid in 192 and most recently seen in the mass killings in Gujarat in 2002. The attack on Christians (a majority of who are Adivasis and Dalits in Orissa and karnataka) is seen by many as the Sangh Parivars (RSS/BJP/VHP) strategy to gain electrol success and as a new phase in their long term strategy to turn india into a Hindu Nation.
