[Gregorio-users] Rendering neumes inside parentheses and the dotted bar

Hi, all, Here I am returning after a long time! I installed texlive 2016 and Gregorio 5.0.1 separately, and with either version (5.0.1 or the one that comes with textlive 2016), when I compile, I get this error: (even with --shellescape): ! Undefined control sequence. l.2

Version 5.0 now has the ability to put notes inside square brackets (not parentheses, unfortunately). The notation is to add `[[` and `]]` around the notes which should be bracketed in the gabc. The dotted bar is not possible currently. I've opened an issue to request the enhancement:

Thank you for the clarification, Br. Samuel. I haven't had the chance to upgrade to version 5.0 for fear of breaking my currently working setup. But, I shall do so as soon as I get enough free time. Again, thank you. *Elmer Montejo* On Thu, May 4, 2017 at 10:23 PM, Br. Samuel Springuel
