[Grml] sata question

Dear M and friends, Just a noob question, for no reason other than neugier. Why does debian installer, lenny, recognise both the sata and atapi cd thing, giving the correct response to cat /proc/scsi/scsi, whereas grml requires bootparameters ide1=noprobe and ide0=noprobe to get sata hdd and atap

Hello, the sound on my eepc did not work. The soundtest means, that it works, but the alasamixer shows an error. I us grml 1.1 RC6. Is grml 1.1 RC6 the same as grml 1.1 vom 24.02.2008? I hope you can help me, because i want to use the swspeak optin of grml. Thnkas for your help Regards. Die
