ubuntu is 1.18.1 (incorporating version 1.1.4 of Peter Schaffter's mom

Is there a later deb package available anywhere? for the whole of
groff? or for a later, compatible, version of mom?

Because they use a hack for Japanese which I've refused to incorporate
into 1.19. Unfortunately, progress w.r.t. good Japanese (TTY) support

Maybe I don't understand the problem with width handling, but it
seems like you get this for free with Unicode, which is another
reason that I think CVS groff would be better.
