configure fail for grub

This is what I used (64 bit ubuntu trying to compile grub2 latest SVN [at the time, that was about 2 mos ago]) to compile (which resulted in this error). I had to compile on 32 bit to get it to work. I compiled on 32 bit because I either read it on the mailing list or was told that in the IRC
