I would like to change the content in the popdown strings from a database,
before the uses sees the the popdown strings.
I use the gtk library on Solaris 9.

Hi All,
I am trying to cross compile pango-1.8.2 for ARM.
It is compiling perfectly with backend: X
But When i try to compile Gtk+2.6.10 it is asking for
configure: error: Xft Pango backend is required for x11 target
Though i have xft package in my Crosscompiled Xserver why pango is not

Thanks for ur reply.Sorry previous reply was too big so i zipped the
Makefile here.
I changed the configure file of pango as follows
have_fontconfig=true
have_freetype=true
have_xft=true
Because i already have them with Xcompiled.
Then i Xcompiled pango .
It has
