GtkFrame looks different each time the program is started

Hi. As for optional GTK+ support, wouldn't be better to check for GTK+ at configure phase and compile/link your application accordingly? Not possible because my app is currently not open source. Which probably means that you'll be distributing binaries. So you can compile two versions

Hi, I previously worked with GTK only on Windows and the Windows builds of GTK always used UTF-8 for everything. Now I played a bit with GTK on Linux and noticed that it doesn't seem to handle UTF-8 correctly by default. Instead, ISO 8859-1 is used (which should be my locale's default charset).
