I don't think the ABS problem is as wide spread as some might think. last I knew there where well over 100 people subscribed to the list and less than 20 that I know of have had ABS problems. that is still a high failure rate, but if the system works when you get the bike and you keep the fluid

Most of the time when my lights don't work it's the bulb. For $2 change the bulbs. If that doesn't work THEN start taking off body panels and looking for fuses, bare wires and the like. But it'll really get you if it's the bulbs. Plus its a really simple circuit and like bob was saying, it's reall

I would probably check the ground circuit for the tail/brake ligth assembly first, for a bad or loose connection. This is a common demoninator between the two circuits, so it is a good place to start. Connect and ohm meter between the black lead at the tail light and the engine, it should read
