Does anyone know of anybody parting out a wrecked GTS? I'm looking for a complete set of passenger foot pegs. I'm considering mounting a set onto the Omega frame and use them as highway pegs for LDRing. Having another place to move your legs to reduce leg fatigue is nice. It looks like

It appears my original hunch and Bob's were correct. I sprayed some WD-40 onto the little plastic plunger coming out of the clutch switch that's actuated by the clutch lever itself, worked it back and forth several times and even disconnected the switch harness and threw in some dielectric

Be careful of the type of spray the you use. I won't use WD 40 on any electrical switches. The main reason is it is an oil. This makes grit and stuff stick to it. If it's a moving part on the switch these particles will jam and wear them out. WD 40 is also a solvent and you just don't

Alan; I have ridden a friends K1200rs back to back with my GTS on a long high speed trip. Its speed is deceptive because it doesnt rev as high as the GTS but in my opinion it is quicker than the GTS and handles much lighter than it looks. Like the GTS its handeling lightens up a lot

Robin, I think the shop manual states that when the light comes on you have about one gallon left. This seems to be correct as every time I have stopped and filled up as soon as my fuel light came on I have gotten about 4.0 gallons in the tank. I think the GTS holds 5.2 gallons when it is full.
