Hi Dave!
Great to see someone picking up the torch on this one!
I'm the dude who did a lot of the printed material at last years
conference, so I hope I can provide some useful feedback.
I really like the text you've written and I would be more than happy to
put this up at my local university in hope that I can lure some lurking
gnomers around here to come to the event.

* regarding the Meet, Plan, Party letters:
shadows are often very hard to print at a printer and have it look good,
so I would advice to avoid that.

* The text looks a bit dragged out vertically, and I would also suggest
you try to use serif letters instead, as they are easier to read on paper.

* The text placed upon the Guadec logo currently looks like they are
part of the logo and is a bit hard to read. Try to put it below the logo
without clipping it.

* The city in the background can also be tricky to print and also makes
the text a bit harder to read.

I also think Behnam has some suggestions on what font we could use for
these, as I can't remember what we used last year (or was supposed to
anyway, as I mixed some stuff up ;)

Keep up the great work!

Last year, I remember people were not happy enough with bags. Even
though they were hand made, and cleverly having only GNOME logo as a
visible item w/o any sponsor logos on the outside :), they were
expensive and to be honest I've never used my bag elsewhere, yet.

Well, Sara and I used the bag regularly, for holding camera, iPod, Nokia
tablets, etc, and for carrying laptops too. In fact, Sara doesn't have
a laptop backpack at all. I've seen Ryan Lortie using his GUADEC bag a
lot too. Though he's now switched to LCA bag. And lets not forget that
many many of the participants use their bag during the conference. They
are a lot better than bulky laptop carrying cases. But maybe it was so
suited to Spain and the beach.

Ace. Thanks!

I could provide direct contact with Killermundi,. The problem though
is that the guy who deals with me and GNOME Hispano has a less than
basic English... I'm happy working as wide translator for this
 purpose.

Please go ahead and deal with him directly. I think that is a good idea.
If you have any queries don't hesitate to let me know.

Hum. I don't know what will they think. However, common sense says
that if the carriage of the GUADEC big purchase is too expensive to
consider buying to Killermundi, it is probably no good business for
them to come with their stock and try to sell just a % of units.

I understand. That's a shame though, i'm not exactly sure how we could
solve that though.

Thanks!

Cheers,
