Thanks for this. I washed two pieces of fabric from the same supplier
but it was just one that after being washed started to stink the whole
house out. Maybe a reaction with one of the colours? Its outside in
the sun over my box hedges - still stinks though.

trim has piping on each side before it is rolled and tacked onto the dress.
Can anyone show/tell me how this is done, so that it doesn't show any raw
edges?

waist as they were an afterthought as the rest of my dance group wears

has been added to over the years and is no longer identifiable as
belonging to any certain period. I would like to sort it out, and
probably move more to Italian with a sheer partlet etc. I'd love to

I'm keen to translate the text on the pdf pattern. Most of it seems
pretty self-explanatory, but it is the unknown that frustrates me.
I'm learning tambour embroidery and hope to replicate the design on the skirt.
Does the book have any English translations? I have it on order but

first time.
