was amazed, because this is the same cut as the Kyoto stays has. I ammaking
these stays at the moment.Could it be that staymakers exchanged the patterns to
eachother, or did theysimply copy eachother?I am wondering why they date the
stays so early, the Kyoto stays are fromthe 1780ies, they are not fully boned,
but they have the same cut! I fullyboned the
