The Campbell book is excellent. I bought it years ago, intending to play around with hairwork, and didn't-- but it explains the process very very well indeed. The main issue is obtaining parts-- chain ends, fastenings, and jewelry findings. I never put the time into that part of things.

Findings are actually not a problem for me, as I make beaded jewelry already, and have those types of finding around, mostly in silver. PLUS, I have all the needed supplies, torches, etc., to make my own findings from precious metal clay, whether silver or gold, and this may be the perfect
