My costume-related gift, from my wonderful sister-in-law, was a pair of lace-up Victorian-style boots -- that actually fit my ridiculously long and skinny feet! I'm thrilled! Those have been on my wish list for quite a while now. Congratulations to everyone on the costume-related haul. Great

FWIW, I was in Target (oh, pardon me, I mean Tar-zhay!) :-) today and admired some lovely robin's-egg blue 100% cotton velvet curtain panels (made in China, of course). I wondered what I could make out of them. $14.99 for a panel 40 x 84 (I think) doesn't work out too badly. Hope this helps! On
