regular, not the waterproof, and it stayed on through a very tearful

Thank you for all your advice re mascara. I must admit to going into sticker
shock when seeing the prices. I guess you truly get what you pay for. I will
look for waterproof and suitable for contact lenses mascara.
Thank you!

For safety sake, you shouldn't keep a mascara for more than 6 months; many
opthomologists suggest that 3 months is safer. Bacteria can build up in the
package and give you a nasty eye infection.

I like the Tarte 4-day stay mascara. It's pricey, but it stands up to my
allergy eyes, and I've even gone swimming with no smears. Considering that
one tube has lasted me almost a year, it's worth the price.

I buy Maybelline waterproof mascara. It's cheap and doesn't run.

Thank you, Sylvia. I like the combination of "cheap" and "waterproof". I'll
buy the Maybelline mascara next.

My advice would be to look for stuff that says it's suitable for contact lens
wearers; that should be tear-proof.

I use cold cream, but any make up remover will work. I also wear
waterproof mascara, which doesn't run.

I had to wear mascara for a dance recital, and find that it's still
there--not only that, it ran (cried while Mary and her little lambs danced).
My questions are these: how do you get the stuff off, and what mascara is
tear-proof?
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance!!
