Please share this post with anyone who buys or sells parasols - I have received two antique parasols from overseas which were broken/smashed because the boxes they were in were received bent out of shape. DO NOT use USPS Medium Mailing Tubes. These boxes should NOT be used to send parasols, EVER!! They are not strong enough. Please use strong cylinders instead that you would send maps in.
