[Hampshire] Anyone familiar with Grub2?

Hi All. I've just had a rather problematic upgrade to Fedora 16 on a test machine. Now I can't boot it. I'm getting a root filesystem not found problem. It tells me the only available devices are sda1 and sda2 - so it's clearly not setting up lvm at all. I know how to fix this in the old grub,

Boot using the CD/DVD and at the linux prompt linux rescue then follow the prompts to mount the files system. Drop in to the shell chroot /mnt/sysimage mount -a ls /boot ensure it has mounted grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg grub2-install /dev/sda Have a look at
