Hmm, I suspect I may be getting a similar problem with my box (2 x Opteron 2GHz dual core processors); if I work it too hard (processor loading up to 90ish% on all four cores) it just shuts down. I suspect it will be an "interesting" task to take off the Zalman coolers, re-paste and refit...
