Because you're ignoring the warnings that haproxy generates when you run with that configuration [WARNING] 032/111847 (11107) : parsing [./haproxy.cfg:6] : acl 'ORIGIN_PRESENT' will never match because it only involves keywords that are incompatible with 'backend http-response header rule'

Why is req.hdr not working for me?

Hi. I’m using HA-Proxy 1.5.14. I’ve got configuration like this: listen heatonra 0.0.0.0: server cargo localhost:8080 acl ORIGIN_PRESENT req.hdr(Origin) -m found http-response set-header Hello World if ORIGIN_PRESENT http-response set-header Access-Control-Allow-Origin

Keep-Alive not working between frontend and backend?

Greetings, I am trying to figure out why, in roundrobin mode, with http-keep-alive set (which should be the deafult anyway), the connection doesn't seem to be kept open to the backend server. Here is my HAproxy config where I've set the keep-alive timeout to 5 seconds: defaults timeout

hi everybody, i am new to haproxy and today found some kind of configuration weirdness that gave me a headache. i was configuring haproxy as ssl termination and used this config: listen apps.https 1.2.3.4:443 bind 1.2.3.4:443 ssl crt /etc/haproxy/my_ha.pem reqadd

Has nobody else run into this w/ consul? Given the plethora of tools around consul and haproxy and templating, I know others are using reloads to keep backend current, but the old haproxy PIDs stick around listening w/ incorrect backends. On Thu, Jan 28, 2016 at 8:52 PM David Birdsong

Re: Stick-table peers expiration time

2016-02-02 Thread Igor Cicimov
Any comments on this? Shouldn't the expiration time get replicated upon restart or just the keys? Obviously the entry in the first server stick table will expire much sooner than the one on the restarted server meaning the first one might choose different backend for the same session id. Thanks,

Thanks, that does work! To me, it seems like the documentation is saying this should be the default behavior just by having http-keep-alive. But if it works, it works. Thanks! On Tue, Feb 2, 2016 at 5:45 PM, Cyril Bonté wrote: > Hi, > > > Le 02/02/2016 23:32, Nick Ramirez
