With SSH Load balancing, haproxy not responding.

I use haproxy for HTTP(S) and SSH. I am running version: haproxy-1.5-dev11 My pool of backend servers are different for each protocol. I am having a problem with SSH, periodically (every day) haproxy stops accepting connections. My Nagios check (tcp port 22) receives: CRITICAL - Socket timeout

I would suggest terminating SSL on the haproxy box (with stud in front of it), thus switching haproxy from tcp to http mode. That way, longrunning keepalive-enabled HTTPS sessions terminate there and apache only sees real non-SSL request without blocking any threads. If you would like to avoid
