The patch is integrated in the current dev version.

Hi everyone,
This seem to be a bug that I just ran into: when %ID is used in a
log-format, but unique-id-format is not defined, then everything after
%ID gets truncated from the logs.

Hi Roel,
Let say there are currently some developments in that way.
It won't be part of HAProxy, but rather a third party daemon
interacting deeply with HAProxy.
What do you mean by OTP?

What kind of daemon is it ?
OTP = One Time Password.
Kind regards,

I was wondering if there were ever any thoughts about adding
module/plugin support to haproxy.
The plugin would be used for adding features to haproxy that are beyond
the scope of haproxy's core focus (fast simple load balancing).
Reading the recent radius authentication thread surprised me. I
Well, I'm currently writing a piece of code which stands behind
HAProxy and whose purpose is to authenticate a user.
Once authenticated, it updates HAProxy who, in turn, let the user
browse the application and sets authentication requirement on the fly.
I think OTP will be possible :)
Still a
Hi Baptiste,
Your third party daemon interacting deeply with HAProxy whets my curiosity :)
Do you think this way could be used to provide an API to haproxy ?
(e.g. dynamicaly provision a server in a backend) is it a low level
API being provided by haproxy ?
For high insertion rate it could
I'm assuming it'll be generic authentication. What information will be
made available to the auth daemon? Just the Authorization header?
I would love a feature that allowed any/multiple header to be passed
through. We use haproxy on an API service, which all incoming requests
must pass in a key

For now, I'm authenticating users through a web form. (this is still POC phase).
I want to be able to authenticate users through Authentication header too.
And why not the situation you're describing, if it makes sense for third party.
For now, any unauthenticated user is redirected to my daemon

Hi,
I've ready every Haproxy/SPDY tutorial and I have the latest version of
Open SSL and I'm using the latest 1.5 dev build.
Everything looks find and I can get a SPDY connection on an upstream ports

Hi,
I was wondering if you'd given any more thought to this feature?
To summarise:
- we are using a backend service that has both synchronous and async threads.
- it has its own internal queuing
- as soon as haproxy gets the first byte the body we know the backend service
is able to accept
