Hi list, I thought that NRK, Norway, had cancelled its AM operations, but evidently not! This morning (Oct 4th) at 03.15 UTC I listened to both 630 (Vigra) and 675 (Röst) with quite good reception, Vigra interfered by the Romanian and Röst by the Dutch station. The programming was P1, but at

Hi all, I am sorry if I have made you any trouble, but I was totally out in the blue about the Norwegian AM transmissions. It is only 1314 kHz, who has closed down. The others have continued broadcasting regionally, according to the information in WRTH. Thanks to all friends, who corrected me!

Nothing new here at all ! This is the way its always been. The only AM station missing is Kvitsøy 1314 khz. You should also give it a try for 153 khz Ingøy (Finnmark regional px). And the Svalbard/Longyearbyen 1 Kw transmitter on 1485 khz could be a challenge for you... 73s Svein Olav Pedersen
