Seriously - I think it was 1980ish when I last received a

on 747, 774 and 828 were at armchair levels
with hets and audio snippets aplenty at
spots like 702, 738(audio), 783, 846, 873,
945(chinese), 954, 963, 972 (korean),
1143(huge HET) and so on..

team members at the weekend Grayland WA team
gave me the task of watching conditions
from Southern Vancouver Island for the
sake of comparison.

I have been assigned the task of monitoring the MW
band at sunrise from the Southern tip of Vancouver
Island while the 'guys at Grayland' are doing their
thing (Oct 15-16-17). Here is my initial report.
I was up today from 1330UTC on and found the
conditions to be slightly above average

my wife, who has a conference there.
I have decided to ship ahead the basic
components for a passive 4' frame loop.
Being on the East Coast and not
being able to chase medium and long-wave
TA's is too good to resist.
