Being the 4th of July holiday weekend, I set up the Perseus with T2FD to record NA Pirates for the first time. Here is what was logged.

6930 DSB R. First Termer Already on when I started at 2201. Chatter between guys abt Pirate radio and other things. 2207 and 2213 Web site. History of the stn by operator Dave Rabbit. Pgm seemed to be a loop. Still going when the computer battery died at 0149. Was getting a carrier on 6929.92 2305-2310, 2325-2332, and other times. Poor fady signal, but up to fair at times. Best in the last 20 minutes. (3-4 July)

6900 WBNY Seemed to be a carrier already on at 2201, but extremely weak. Gradually got better, and getting audio at 2214. Instru. mx. Some deadair. SFX. Canned anmnt w/ment of Commander Bunny at 2224. Mailing addr anmnt at 2226. Went into Voice of Next Thursday pgm at 2227. Good signal by 2245. 2256 WBNY anmnt, then another V.O. Next Thursday pgm. Went off at 0009:49. (3-4 July)

6924 Captain Morgan Signal first came on at 2318:10 on 6924.64, and mx abt 30 sec. later and mainly uncopiable anmnt except for ".we're broadcasting.". Into Blues mx pgm. Distorted anmnt at 2348 w/poss. ID. 0020 brief "Captain Morgan Shortwave" ID. 0125 e-mail addr. Anmnts were distorted. Poor but best after 0140. Still on at 0149. Drifting down to 6923.9. (3-4 July)

6955 WMPR Signal came on at 2349:57, and Rock mx start at 2349:30. Canned ID by M and freq by W at 2358. Same anmnt throughout the bdcst. Went off at 0036:47. Massive S-9 +20 signal. (3-4 July)
