Polish Radio Euro scheduled to launch in May: (January 17th, 2008) Polish Radio is opening a new multi-media channel, Polish Radio Euro, especially for the occasion of the European Football Championships organized jointly by Poland and Ukraine in 2012. The channel will focus predominantly on sport and education and it will replace Polish Radio Bis, or Channel Four.
The new radio is scheduled to be launched in mid-May and its first major broadcasts will be the coverage of European Football Championships this year in Switzerland and Austria.
