Back in Denmark after some weeks in the Caribbean. On two occasions I stayed
at places where I was able to set up longwires, and so had the chance to
do a bit of DXing. There was - however - a lot of noise local noise as
well as a lot of statics. So very noisy bands which made

absent from the shortwave bands. My last really serious listening was in 1994
and I have noticed how shortwave has changed.

5000 VENEZUELA, YVTO, Caracas, DF 0547 MAR 27 - under WWV with a man repeating
at least twice Observatorio Cagical - Caracas, Venezuela. Very good reception
under WWV ! It's only the 2nd or the 3rd time I get this one. (Chiochiu-QC)
5025 CUBA, Radio
-5030 kHz 2223 UTC R Burkina, Ouagadougou, good signal both evenings and
mornings 06 UTC. Signal strength even S9 +10dB. This is not a DX catch. Too
common to mention.
-4786,9 kHz ORTM Bamako (Kati) in French with reasonable reception at 2225 kHz
January 16 as all previous loggings.
Hi all,
two SW logs but no idea who they are, any help appreciated,
01h20 GMT 2117Mhz, SINPO 22322 Slavic or Indian type language? Mostly a male
talking but occasionally a female. Station ID at 01h30 followed by Vilolin
music SINPO 13131, could not make out.
