I use a Timewave DSP-9+ and it works pretty darned good considering it's AF DSP, on knocking back the noise on LF/MF/HF DXing. It does best on lightning QRN and least on power line QRN. I seriously doubt though that the newest Timewave DSP 599 ZX is worth $450. I would look for at least a DSP-9+ on Ebay. Bought mine there for under $100 used.
