http://webdisk.planet.nl/mvarnhem/publiek/album/NA%20891%2011%20nov%2010%201601UTC.mp3

Some days ago I heard on 891 khz at 1601UTC the s/off of TRT Antalya with the
NA of Turkey.
On the link you can hear suddenly fading in a stronger station with a national
anthem or something which sounds like a national anthem.
Who can recognize this music?
After the music I suppose I hear CNR1.
The other station is from here in The Netherlands,
Many thanks !!
Max

Yes Sir,
heard on Friday 12 in Munich and Eastern Austria too.
Kabd Kuwait replaced 6050 16-22 UT by 6080 kHz.

On 6050 still TRT Emirler and Lhasa Tibet.
Also Wertachtal registered here, a lot of QRM, and Kuwait left for 6080 kHz
now.

** ALASKA. 9680, whilst checking for RRI, Nov 14 at 1401 I can hear the KNLS IS
underneath, so we know that at least one transmitter is sometimes on the air.
Contradicts its own one-transmitter sked at
http://www.knls.org/broadcasting-front.html
which shows
1300-1400 9680 31 Chinese
1400-1500 9615 31 Chinese
so maybe they were late switching to 9615, which they would be well advised to
use at both hours due to all the QRM on 9680; but that has never been a
deterrent to the out-of-touch KNLS frequency management (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** BULGARIA. 15700, Nov 14 at 1342 open carrier, strong with flutter, presumed
R. Bulgaria which owns this channel, since it has that wacky policy of using
-00 frequencies only. Currently registered at 11-14 is Sofia site in DRM, 50
kW, 306 degrees, but this was plain AM; perhaps this is inactive, and it was
really Plovdiv, 300 kW, 306 degrees in early anticipation of 14-15 Bulgarian
broadcast, which was indeed audible thence (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

** CHILE. 11920, Nov 14 at 0044 sign-off announcement does not mention Ecuador,
just HCJB Global, via Santiago CVC transmitter, 11920, time 21:45, refer to
http://www.hcjb.com.br for more programming. Still no spurs (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CHINA. 13580, Nov 14 at 0040, Chinese with echo. Since no Western station is
scheduled here, this must not be jamming! But instead short/longpath echo, as
CRI Chinese via Beijing site is scheduled at 0000-0157, 500 kW, 215 degrees.
You`ve got a PR problem when the first assumption upon hearing your station is
that it could be jamming (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 12010, VG new frequency for RHC, Nov 14 at 0035 // 11760 with hard
jazz, and also good on // 11770; plus 6060, 6140. 11770??? It`s scheduled only
1930-2400 to Europe, the last two sesquihours in Spanish, the first sesquihour
in French, Portuguese, Arabic. 12010 is 23-05 for South America, and still
heard altho weaker at 0205.

RHC English getting started much earlier than in the last week, already
underway at 0102 Nov 14 on 6050 atop HCJB, and weaker 6000 badly squeezed.
Meanwhile Spanish on 6140, 6120, 6060.

For the third week in a row, RHC`s Sunday morning programs are appearing one UT
hour later that ever before. Nov 14 at 1340 music on Cuba Campesina; 1435 En
Contacto, the DX program, ironically introduced by Manolo with the
uncapitalized phrase ``amigos de la onda corta``, also the title of Spain`s DX
program which used to air at the same time. This EC mainly had a good primer on
tropical band DXing, from Radio Actividades in Uruguay. EC was on 13780 and
many others.

Have these timeshifts been made on the RHC Sunday morning program schedule at
http://www.radiohc.cu/espanol/c_programacion/programacion.htm
? of course not! Should we read all of these one hour later now?

12:33 UTC Domingo Cuba Campesina
13:00 UTC Domingo Noticiero
13:10 UTC Domingo Amigos de Cuba
13:30 UTC Domingo Bolet?n
13:35 UTC Domingo En Contacto
13:50 UTC Domingo En Compa??a del Doctor
14:00 UTC Domingo Noticiero
14:10 UTC Domingo El Mundo de la Filatelia
14:30 UTC Domingo Bolet?n
14:35 UTC Domingo La Cultura en Cuba
14:53 UTC Domingo Bolet?n Resumen de la Ma?ana

And what about the afternoon and evening program timings, and all other days of
week? Have not checked those out.

RHC was already in Sunday-morning mode, with 13750 instead of 13680 at 1412,
maintaining the squeal. At 1501 I looked for scheduled Esperanto on 11760 only,
but it was still Spanish // all the others, 15370, 15360, 15230, 17750, 11730,
distorted 11690. Arnie claims 15120 is for South America, so why is it always
stronger than the other 19m channels here? 15370 is new at this time, ex-12010
for Al?, Presidente. More chex during the 1500 semihour still find no Esperanto
on 11760 at 1504, 1529.

New online schedule claims Esperanto is now Sundays:
San Francisco 6010 0700-0730
Norte Centro y Suram?rica 11760 1500?1530
                          15370 2230-2300
While the sked Arnie sent Wolfgang B?schel adds another:
Am?rica Central 11760 2100-2130
The 2100 and 2230 need to be confirmed this Sunday, but with 1500 missing, the
prospects seem bleak. The Esperanto page at RHC website is totally outdated
from a year or more ago.

At 1511 all active frequencies were carrying RHC`s Filatelia show. Maybe
Esperanto has also shifted unexpectedly one hour later, to 1600? No, at 1618,
still Spanish, but now Al?, Presidente has started on its special frequencies,
El Hugazo speaking on 17750, 15370, 13750, 13680, distorted 11690; while
separate RHC mainstream on 11760, 11730. I have a feeling that Esperanto often
gets lost in the shuffle between studio and transmitters (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** EAST TURKISTAN. 15220, Nov 14 at 0639 music with flutter, thought I heard
the Portuguese word ``ora??o`` but that was a red herring, as 0642 French talk,
0651 mentioning chinois with a .cn URL. So it`s CRI French to Europe, 06-07,
500 kW, 308 degrees from Urumqi, somehow making it here in the nightmiddle,
transpolar up or down? While only other sigs on band were African (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** EGYPT. 9900, Nov 14 timesignal ending at about 0059:15 as if it were already
0100! R. Cairo martial news theme, distorted, undermodulated: even stranger
next door on 9915 the same, but more distorted and about one second out of
synch with 9900, sounds like YL with news in Spanish. Must be because 9900 is
Abu Zabaal site, 250 kW, 245 degrees, while 9915 is Abis site, 250 kW, 282
degrees. So much for frequency diversity, but makes it easy to compare
different feeds and degrees of distortion (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

** EQUATORIAL GUINEA. 15190, Nov 14 at 0634, I was incredibly fortunate to tune
in just as a rare ID was playing, with e-mail radioafr...@myway.com and ID as
Radio Africa #2, P O Box ---?, somewhere in Zimbabwe. Deep fades. None of this
info appears in WRTH 2010; will it in 2011? This morning transmission is
probably sporadic and/or Sunday-only. Announcer on the canned ID had an
American, not Equatorialguinean, accent. Deep fades but peaking S9+10. Then on
to next preacher. Some other 19m Africans also in, e.g. NIGERIA (Glenn Hauser,
OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** INDONESIA. 9526-, VOI English absent second day in a row, Sunday Nov 14, at
1354 check. 9680 RRI Indonesian from same Cimanggis site audible at 1401 atop
KNLS (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** KUWAIT. 21540, Nov 14 at 1348 Qur`an still on this late and needlessly
colliding with Spain. R. Kuwait has made a number of other schedule changes
including losing English (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NIGERIA [and non]. 15120, Nov 14 at 0636, VON, very distorted and
overmodulated, presumed English as scheduled this hour in seeming interview.
Carrier unstable too. This is really incredible: VON has spent a lot on
installing brand-new transmitter and antennas, and this is what we get? Have
they ruined the new equipment already, or are we still hearing the old stuff?

Nightmiddle opening, also inbringing EqG 15190, and DW Rwanda 15275, plus even
better 1Africa CVC Zambia 13590, but nothing at all audible above 15275, as if
we were right at the MUF (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SAUDI ARABIA [and non]. 15435, Nov 14 at 1459 bad collision with low het
between BSKSA Arabic and unID, but the other station goes off at 1500 clearing
channel for HQS. Listed as Vatican direct in Urdu, a collision of crusaders
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SPAIN [and non]. 15170 and weaker squeezed 15125 both via CR (but not 11815
which is M-F only): as soon as I mention that Amigos de la Onda Corta has been
confirmed Sundays at 1330 from REE, as it was heard Oct 31 and Nov 7, bam! It`s
gone, Nov 14, replaced by discussion of F?rmula Uno caracing, mentioning
Madrid, Barcelona, Abu Dhabi. Perhaps this was a special silly sports
pre?mption, so we know what REE`s priorities are, requiring us to check again
168 hours later. Still on that subject 1 hour later, also on 17595 direct and
the 13m channels (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. One WWCR transmitter is missing: Nov 14 at 0053 nothing on
re-extended 7465, but inbooming on the other three, 5070, 9980, 13845. At this
hour, 3215 with BS was of course WWRB (and no ex-3255 either from WWCR). At
0149, the next frequency was active, 7490, the squealing WWCR-1 plus the other
three (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9540, WHRI with gospel huxter in English, Sunday Nov 14 at 1354 as I
was looking for 9526 Indonesia. So apparently 9540 is active both Saturday and
Sunday, but still no Hmong or godforbid, DXing with Cumbre (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A [and non]. 15550-USB, WJHR preacher Nov 14 at 1458 mixing with Iran,
but the relative carrier level is insufficient so it still helps to insert one
to make WJHR less scratchy on AM mode. Not that anyone would axually want to
listen to it for content! (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** VENEZUELA [non]. Al?, Presidente not AWOL this week, El Hugazo speaking,
Sunday Nov 14 at 1618 check via CUBA, 17750, 15370-new ex 12010, 13750, 13680
and 11690, while RHC`s own programming was on 11760, 11730 (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST) ###
