2021-10-27 Thread Wolfgang Bueschel

Re 16 mb:

Empty channels on 17595 / nor 17820 kHz signal around 00.00 UT Oct 28,
at Hiroshima / nor heard in northern Tokyo.
JBA - Maybe Glenn did visible some Oklahoma main power string disturbtion
noise signals on his display.

In Tokyo and Hiroshima remote Perseus SDR screens - the 16 mband was clean.

KOREA D.P.R. But surprise, surprise noted tiny jamming signal of
"siren, howling buoy" type on exact
17800 kHz, like heard often by Vietnam security forces used in 31 mband
at other time of the day against VTN mountain people language ministry
of FEBA Philippines services etc.

Then checked the \\ harmonic of
8900exact fq S=6 or -94dBm strength at Hirsoshima, and
fundamental
4450exact KRE jamming of same type against VoP KOR S=9+25dB in Hiroshima
and Tokyo Japan,
also as summary
SAME jammming noted on 3 channels: 4450 / 8900 / 17800 kHz at 00.00 UT.

UNIDENTIFIED 15249.996 kHz UNIDENTIFIED English language NUMBER station.
Weak and tiny on U S B-mode audio part upper side.
8 x digits read each group,
continued in English language, at least 15 minutes I listened to,
around after 00.20 UT then slight fade-out.

MARIANA ISLS 15209.996 kHz US AGM RFA Lao sce from Tinian, S=4-5 tiny into
Hiroshima SDR at 00.28 UT.

re >> Tuning only JBA / WOOB areas between 16300 and 12500 kHz.

in mid November after DST change on northern hemishere
I'll monitor-check by SDR units in Far East, Taiwan and Vietname target,
the TWN / CHN radio war again - of Falun Gong sect,
between - in the 6200 and 21800 kHz frequency band range.

[selected SDR options, span 12.5 kHz RBW 15.3 Hertz]

CHINA. Oct 26 at 2301-2310, many signals correlating with China,
mostly JBA in Chinese, or JBA carriers; WOOB ones most likely jammers
against Sound of Hope:

9830 at 2301, checking whether VOT bonuses an extra German hour after
English, JBA carrier if LSB-tuned to avoid RTTY on USB. But CNR1
Beijing 572 site is scheduled here 2025-0100. Checking Aoki/NDXC.

17820, 17595, JBA maybe Chinese at a time 16m otherwise dead. 17595 is
CNR1 but nothing listed at 2302 on 17820.

Tuning only WOOB areas between 16300 and 12500, Skipping a number of
suspicious 19 and 22 mb inband signals, to: 15100 S3-S5; 14920, 16100;
13920 Chinese S3, 13530 Chinese S3-4, 13160 JBA, 13130, 13020, 12880,
12500 JBA carriers.

12819.85 approx., Oct 26 at 2312, one offset JBA carrier smax of Sound
of Hope itself without jamming, yet unlikely with the known high-power
jammers so weak (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CHILE. 18155-USB, Oct 26 at 1455, CE1CR calling CQDX 17 and working
US stations; tho fonetik, heavy accent made copy uncertain, but
probably this per QRZ.com

** CUBA. 15730, Oct 26 at 2303, RHC Kriyol S9 but extremely distorted.
Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** JAPAN [non]. 9705, re my Furusato no Kaze log, Ron Howard replies:
``Glenn - Per Hiroshi, it would seem you heard "Doremi No Uta" (DO -
RE - MI). Tree of the Forest Children's Choir -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNR8-ONY1mA .
Ron, California`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** KASHMIR [non]. 15170, Oct 26 tune-in at 1516 to Kashmir Civitas,
via IRRS via ROMANIA, S9+25/30 into UTwente in impassioned Urdu speech
with some English terms, ``occupying forces``, ``super-charged``, with
crowd response, also partly understrumming; 1524 cut to studio talk
with strum; 1529* cut off during talk, no IS. Tuesday-only
broadcast.

HFCC shows from next week in B-21, shifts one UT hour later to 1600
Tuesdays only on 15170, 300 kW, 79 degrees from ``Milano``. As Europe
will go off DST, but that should be irrelevant in target. I hope the
Kashmiri be prepared for the change (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SUDAN. 7206.002, Oct 26 at 0452, Arabish talk, S8-S9 somewhat
undermodulated, 0455 HOA music past 0500+, into UTwente. Sudan Radio,
the only active SW frequency from here, now under control of the
military coup. Checked direct at 0621, JBA carrier.

Nominal 7205 of course, but Manuel Mendez had it a sesquiyear ago on
7206: May 17 at 0505*-*0525. And hardly an accidental variation, maybe
to placate IARU ham intruder complaints, hi. They had blasted France
for broadcasting on 7205, sideband below 7200.000.

Sudan had an external service, same transmitter? at 1630-1900 with
English at 1715, on 9505, but believed inactive for some time.

[non] Might also be of interest to monitor target broadcaster Radio
Dabanga, A-21 scheduled: 0429-0457 7315 Vatican, 11650 Madagascar;
1529-1627 11640 Bulgaria, 15550 Vatican (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 414-MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0618 UT, one unusual ND beacon is
ATS, which is 25 watts from ArTeSia NM; I was tuned to 412-USB. Mixed
with another weaker unID. Last logged Nov 24 and Oct 6, 2020 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 2109 monitoring; next:
1030 UT Wednesday WRMI 5850 to NW
2100 UT Wednesday WRMI 7780 to NE
2100 UT Wednesday WBCQ 7490v to WSW
0030 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW, 9455 to WNW
0130 UT Thursday WRMI 5010 to S

** UZBEKISTAN. 5829.90, Oct 26 at 1632, JBA signal into Kuwait SDR,
checking out a yesterday report of something on ``5829``. Typical
Tashkent off-frequency but just reported by Alan Holder:

``Confirmed October 26, 1600 UT. 5830 carrying the same audio as Iran
International TV live streaming, although radio is about 2 seconds
behind. Heard with excellent reception on the Kuwait KiwiSDR. Alan
Holder, G4ZBH, Isle of Wight, U.K.``

We were checking out a previous report from Brasil at 0250 of
something on ``5829``. After that I could only hear WTWW 5830.
Wolfgang Bueschel also reported:

``UZBEKISTAN, 5829.938 kHz exact measured at 1700 UT, likely via
transmitting stn of RRTM Telecom Tashkent Uzbekistan bcast center,
Iran International TV news program in Persian, read by female
presenter, S=9+5dB backlobe into southern Germany Perseus SDR unit``
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
