When a Dell is booting up, and that bar is going across the screen
during POST, is there a way to find out what test is actually running
in the background? I have a machine where the bar goes halfway
across the the screen and then reboots. Is there a way for me to see
the actual test
IIRC, you might be able to hit escape key during it, another one might
be tab.
Can you enter the so called bios (dell really does not have anything
that compaires to real motherboar's config options, of course). What
about F12 on boot up?

Also, if you can find it, in many BIOSes, there is a setting to turn the
banner off (the Dell screen in your case). This lets you see what is
happening during startup.

So could I create a few private password protected channels that may never
be used but might need to be used at any time? I'm guessing that as little
as 4 up to 12 users for up to 4 hours if it was needed.
