The site is good. There is some utilities in there that give off false
positives. Think about it, you're going to change something on the hard
drive, it could be mistaken for a virus :)

If you have Steam on one PC can you install it on another one as long
as you use them one at a time or do you need to remove it from one
before installing to the other?

You just need to log in / log out on each machine. And it should sync all
your settings and saved games between the two. it's very handy.

You can have it installed on as many machines as you like, so long as
they're used one at a time.
