I have a couple of clients doing a similar thing over about 500 metres. The antenna at each end is a pair of stacked dipoles which are omnidirectional. Another useful device would be a "Cantenna". This would give you point to point coverage as well as increasing signal strength. The major loss is in the co-axial feed to the antenna so idealy the TX/RX wants to be as close as practicable. -- Best Regards: Gaffer Pontefract Linux User Group.
