I just read reviews of Rabbi Paul Plotkin's book "The Lord Is My Shepherd,
Why Do I Still Want?" in Jewish Book World and our own AJL
Newsletter. Although the reviews were both very positive and good
protrayals of a very fine book, the wonderful experience of having the
author come speak is worthy of mentioning here. We had Rabbi Plotkin
introduce his book and lead our reading group in a discussion of the
healing power of the the psalms. This was a truly successful program that
was enriching, entertaining, and enormously comforting to our members. I
highly recommend
it!
