Speaker: Uri Shulevitz

Please join Caldecott- and Newbery-winning author and illustrator Uri 
Shulevitz as he discusses his award-winning book "How I Learned 
Geography." The recently published book explores his childhood 
memories of World War II and the power of the imagination. Shulevitz 
will discuss the creation of this extraordinary book and the 
autobiographical story that lies behind it.


"Exploring Picture Books" is an ongoing series at the Zimmerli Art
