To our Index to Jewish Periodicals Subcribers: I'm please to announce that the 2008 citations have been edited and published. This is the status of publication and distribution:
Index to Jewish Periodicals EBSCO database online - was updated about ten days ago with all journals received bearing a 2008 date, received by mid-January 2009. The total number of citations in the database, 1988-2008 inclusive, is just under a quarter million. Note that the online database is updated twice a year; in January and in July. Index to Jewish Periodicals on CD - the CDs will be mailed tomorrow. Subscribers in the US should have them some time next week. Overseas subscriptions will receive theirs in early April. The printed Index is at the printers; we expect that printing, binding, and mailing will be complete by Pesach. Subscribers to the printed Index should have their copies by mid-April.
