* I read several posting recommending the film "Live and Become"
for our libraries. (Don't still have those postings, so I can't
e-mail the senders directly, sorry!) Online, I found a film by that
title directed by Radu Mihaileanu about Ethiopean Jews in Israel. Is
that the one that the one some of you were recommending. If so,
where can it be purchased (I couldn't find it for sale). If not, can
you please clarify the film you are recommending and where to purchase?
* A patron recommended the 2001 film "The Believer" (starring
Ryan Gossling and Summer Phoenix) for our library. Have any of you
seen it or bought it. Is it appropriate for a Jewish library and/or
for use in a classroom with teens?
