I'll propose an update to the authority record for Jewish ethics. The
proposal will likely sail through because the omission was probably
an oversight. It's going to take some time before the record is
changed, however, because LC updates are down for two weeks during
their system
Questions about LC cataloging policies and practices are best
directed to the LC Cataloging Policy and Support Office
([EMAIL PROTECTED]); however, my colleagues and I on the LC Hebraica Team
will be happy to follow up on this matter. Thanks to Liza for

In searching the LC authority site today, we discovered
something quite disturbing. When one clicks on the broad
term, Religious ethics to see the narrow terms, there
appears a list including Buddhist ethics, Christian
etics, Bahai ethics (11 choices).
