Hi friends, A patron recently asked me about donating Jewish books to my library. I didn't happen to need these particular books, so I suggested she donated them to the used book sale at her public library. Here was her response.
-- We have been carting bags and boxes of other books to the local library for many months, but I was treating items of Jewish content differently. Pardon my paranoia, do I need to be concerned in these days of rising antisemitism about Jewish books going to a public library? -- Has anyone experienced any issues with this? Thanks! -Susan Susan Kusel Librarian Temple Rodef Shalom 2100 Westmoreland Street Falls Church, VA 22043 (703) 676-3851 sku...@templerodefshalom.org<mailto:sku...@templerodefshalom.org>
